Description
Rice with large, evident, translucent and yellowish grains that undergoes a steam pre-cooking (called, in fact, parboilization) followed by rapid drying. This process results in the gelatinisation of the starch that gives the rice its particular amber color. It is a richer rice from a nutritional point of view that optimally maintains cooking by lending itself to the preparation of boiled rice, salads, side dishes.
