Black olives, harvested in the Mediterranean area, pitted and preserved in extra virgin olive oil. The best you can get in terms of the taste of the olives, the intense taste of the added oil and appearance. They are excellent both as an appetizer, aperitif or as an accompaniment to meats, cheeses, cold cuts and cold dishes, and when used in the preparation of first and second courses.
